This and that ....

Happy Sunday to everybody!!!!

This is supposed to be a short post due to the fact that I have 2 1/2 boys (hubby included) homesick!

I seem to do a lot of cleanup lately and so I came up with these three cards. I just grab what I found on the desk - after doing tons of scrapbooking and working on the last swaps I commited.

This sweet dog was send to my by my dear friend Paola aka Sama at Splitcoaststampers. I had him colored for quite a while and wanted to put him on a card. The paper and sticker are "Summer Home" simply scrapping from SU and the XOXOXO is from SU "Fundamental Phrases".

This stamp is from Paola too. I guess it is Penny Black and the inside stamp matches perfectly with "Stressed????? Me????????"
I send this card to my friend in Germany - she is having a hard time juggeling her kids, the job and the rest of the family. She just called me and said it made her laugh out loud! That's all I wanted =)
Paper was Baja breeze, kiwi kiss, whisper white and DP from SU (forgot the name). Ribbon and eyelets are rom Michael's.

My friend Mary hosted the February Sisterhood-swap and her theme was Mardi Gras. Boy, that was hard for me... but anyway. For that swap I stamped a background stamp and embossed it with irisdescent (???)  embossing powder. It's very glittery but I kinda like it. This was my example cardstock and I wanted to use it asap. I just colored in the little hedgehog with SU markers and matted it on creamy caramel, added some pop-up dots and there we go. Anything fancy!

Thanks for visiting me today in my little corner of the web. Hope to see you soon

These are all great, Tanja, but that stressed card makes me laugh too! It's such a cute image, and brings a smile to my face every time I see it. Probably because I can identify so well with that wild cat! I'm really enjoying your posts! Keep 'em coming!
