4 in 1 Liesel

Hi there,

have you all had a good Easter holiday? We spent most of the day outside playing - the weather is gorgeous here. We even hopped into the pool today .... ;-)

My card for you today actually meets 4 (!!!!) challenges. I love the bright and sunny colors of the paper from Garden Variety by Cosmo Cricket.. And it gave me the inspiration for coloring Liesel with wheelbarrow in the same colors..... Kind of spring-y, huh?

Okay, what did we have? We had Crazy 4 challenge with kraft cs as a cardbase, KLStampinNScrappin with a 1-2-3 recipe, OCC with buttons (pfff, easy peasy for me ;-)) and we had Unscripted Sketches #49.

Without further adieu ... here come the supplies
Hugs Tanja

some snowman soup?

Hi there,

nice to see you today. Finally I had time to participate in some challenges, yeah!
Korin at The Sweet Stop has an awesome sketch this week - I couldn't resist ...
And I just figured out that this card can even be a take for this cool challenge - check it out!

A while back I ordered this set from CC Design - LOVE it!!!!!!! The snowman is just gorgeous and doesn't need fancy coloring when you throw in some paper piecing, right?
I had so much fun coloring this cutie that I had to work with him again. Watch out for tomorrow's post, ;-)

The paper is from Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice Collection - so warm but nevertheless so matching for Mr. Ice! And the Dazzling Diamonds look like snow falling down ... (well, at least to me ...)

Thank you for stopping by today and for all the nice and wonderful comments - I so appreciate each and every one.

Take care
Tanja

Frosty Days

Hi there,

did you have a good weekend? Our's was calm and quiet - so nice! I even took time and sat down for coloring and stamping and choosing paper and .... it was so much fun!

And I came up with this cool image: I love CC Design and when I saw Nora I had to have her. She sat on my desk and I couldn't wait to "work" with her. The DP is from the Eskimo Kisses collection from Basic Grey - I adore this cool and friendly colors - they matches Nora so perfectly.

She was colored with my trusty watercolor pencils and Aquapainter. I threw in some stickles, pink pearls, green rhinestone stickers, snowflakes punched with MS on vellum and I tried my hand on this grommit .... phew! I'm not sure if I like them. If there is anybody out there who can tell me how to use them properly ... PLEASE PLEASE do so!!! I like them togetehr with this pink pirouette ribbon but :::::rolleyes:::::

I wish you a great Monday and thank you for visiting my corner of the world today!
Hugs Tanja
