Curtain Call & Sweet Sunday Sketch

Hi there,

I got this little lady from my friend Kadie and I had her sitting on my desk forever!!!! When I saw the colors at the Curtain Call blog I had to use this Gorjuss lady. And the sketch from Sweet Sunday sketch was just perfect for the paper and ribbon I wanted to use - I just love it when things fall in place....

I still work on my watercoloring skills - the black hair is okay but I'm not really happy with it - any suggestions how to make it better?

Thank you for popping in today
Hugs Tanja

Introducing Daisy

Hi there,

a while back I received some stamps from Sugar Nellie and I have to admit that I absolutly LOVE them. This little girl is Daisy and from the first day I saw here I had to have her. Well, now she is mine and this is my first card I made with her.

The colors are kinda unusual for me but it all began when I saw a tutorial about this wonderful flowers made of tissue paper (tutorial was made by Patty Benett). I tried one of those and I chose purple because my Secret Sister like this color and I wanted to make her one. I then added a yellow button to bring in some fun color. Usually I wanted to use one of those flowers for this card but .... well. It should not happen. So I had the colors for Daisy chosen from a flower I haven't even used.
But I'm babbling .... This cutie will be in the mail by today to make a long trip for a birthday :-)

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by
Hugs Tanja
