cqc#48 - mixed companies

Hi there,

oh my, the weeks just fly by ... I wanted to post more often but .... well, life always comes in the way, grrr! Sorry for that!

Today's card is for the colorQ challenge from my friend Arielle - go and check out her gorgeous inspiration photos!!! Just eye-candy-yummyness!

And for this week I decided to stay away from my beloved PTI stamps - that was hard. I still haven't had the time to just sit down and play with them ***sniff***.. But I got two new sets from Claire from Waltzingmouse Stamps and I LOVE them. And Claire is the sweetest person ever, that's for sure.

Back to the card - I used a total of 4(!) different stamp sets from 3 (!!!) different companies, yeah to me! ;) And yes, I gave up and used one from PTI :) - couldn't resist. Can you say I'm addicted? NOOOOO!
The layout is from CCEE#1034 - I think I will used this one a lot in the future.

Thank you for stopping by today and stay tuned - tomorrow I have a card (actually 2) that will meet a lot of challenges ....
Hugs Tanja

Waltzingmouse challenge

Hello again,

are you already wondering why I post that much this week? I just having a ball - that's it. I used my "kids-in-preschool-time" very wisely and did a lot of stamping (at least for me a lot) and there we go. Some challenges I want to play in have a due date soon so I thought that it might be good to post the cards that I made as soon as possible- just in case life is coming in the way, ykwim?

ANd here is my card for the Waltzingmouse challenge - you could win a whole release!!! And Claire whipped up some amazing stamp sets for this month - go and check out her sneak peeks - you will love them!!!
For this card I thought of doing something very creative and made a "paper-fighter" as my son would call it. But mommy isn't as good in paper fighter creating than daddy so you all have to live with my "strange" plane ;-)

Thank you for visiting me again today - I love to have you here!
Hugs Tanja

CPS and Waltzingmouse

PLEASE NOTE: this is my 2. post for today - please scroll down for today's first card!

Hi there,

I wanted to play with my first Waltzingmouse stamp set since I got it a couple weeks ago and I just found the perfect sketch on Sunday at CardPositioningSystem.

I sponged the piece on aqua mist paper with broken china distress ink, the "sand" was made by a scrap of kraft cs ditressed with antique linen distress ink.
The sentiment was ... well.... a serendipity. I first stamped it in white ink and figured out that it wasn't really visible so I went back and stamped it a second time in night of navy but without using a stamp positioner. And by eyeballing it I created a kind of a shadow effect with the white ... like it :)

Take care, my friends
Hugs Tanja
