cqc#75 happy birthday

Hi there,

I'm terribly late with my post for this week's colorQ challenge. We have two sick kiddos at home, hubby is preparing for his deployment (which will be in July but he already in trainings...) and I got a new job where I actually need to be in the office and not at home with the little ones ;). And on top .... our new home!!!! We will get the key on the 26th of this month - boy can you tell I am excited!!!!!! Enough rambling - and back to the reason you are here for, right?

I kept my card clean and simple again because I was in a hurry. And of course I used my beloved PTI goodies :) can't get enough of 'em.

Thank you for visiting me today - have a blessed one

cqc#73 dotty hi

Hi there,

it's time again for the colorQ challenge. And Arielle has chosen "my" colors for this week's challenge. LOVE all kind of blues but I seem to have trouble getting a card done with them ... So I stayed with the cas style and used 2 PTI sets "Dot Spots" and "Outlined Alphabet"".

Unfortunately I messed up the "i" while coloring in poor light ...grrr! We wanna see your creation - come and play with us!!!

cqc #70 - Stars

Hi there,

another Tuesday and another colourQ-day! Go and check out Arielle's colors for today - to die for!!!!!
I chose this sketch from the clean-and-simple blog (LOVE all the cas ideas!!!) and went ahead with this soft combo *happy sigh*

The star is from an Elzybell bell that sat in one of the boxes for ever before I finally broke in it today :). And the sentiment is from the same set called "Stardust and Moonbeams". (guess what: no PTI on my card today ;) )

Thank you for stopping by today - have a great rest of the week

cqc#28 and it's a circus ...

Hi there,

welcome to this week's colorQ challenge. Arielle chose another great inspiration picture and this is my take.
Since I started using my Circle Circus from SU I fell in love with it and for this color combo I pulled it out again. And I finally inked up one of the stamps from "Frames wit a Flourish" that is sitting in my drawer for .... well, for quite a while.

I LOVE clean and simple styles and I think the white space always looks so relaxing .... yes, I think I need a little bit of sleep and a day off and I'm back to my old self ;-)

Hope you play along with us!
Hugs Tanja

Supplies:
stamps: Circle Circus, Frames with a Flourish, Fundamental Phrases all SU
ink: bermuda bay, ruby red, pretty in pink, tango tangerine
paper: PTI Stamper's Select white
others: paper snipper, stickles

PTI addicted ...

Hi there,

and happy Monday! I'm sorry for not posting much during the last days but I was fighting a major headache ... probably because of this weird weather here in the south.

But for today I will show you 2 cards I made lately with some of my goodies from PTI - I think I'm addicted to this stuff :-))
Both cards are pretty simple but like I already said I'm more the clean and simple style person.

This one was made with the "Turning a new Leave" set stamped on regal rose and embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment is from "Through the Trees". I just added a scallop border from a SU scrap I had in my stash. Some Aqua Miat buttones from PTI - and that's it!

The second one is even more simple. I stamped one of the main images from "Through the Trees" on rich razzleberry and embossed it with with EP again. Wrapped around an orange zest grosgrain ribbon. Then I added some pearl sticker and I was done. Simple but okay - what do you think?

Take care

Bermuda CAS

Hi there,

when I saw the CAS challenge for this week at SCS I just had to play. A teal color, white and an additional color -> all together on a card. And since I discovered my love for bermuda bay lately I whipped up this two cards. Simple but I like the turn out ....

The stamps set I used is "Butterfly Wishes" from The Greeting Farm. The butterfly punch is Martha Stewart, the rhinestone and pearl stickers are from Michael's. I added rich razzleberry ribbon and on the second card a white border punch with the new SU border punch (sorry, forgot the name for it!!)

That should be all for today. I'm in the middle of some major drawer cleaning ... blehhhh! ;-)

Have a wonderful day and thank you for popping in today.

3 challenges in one card

Hi there,

just a short post this morning because I'm rushing out of the door in 5 minutes ......

I managed to combine 3 challenges in one card - I think this is pretty awesome for me. I always come up with an idea for one challenge, sometimes for two together. But all three? Huh, not too often.

This card is for Crazy4Challenges - use Polka Dots; Our Creative Corner - clean and simple and for the PaperCraftPlanet Sketch Challenge - sketch with cut out image.

I used my Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and my Winter Schminter stamp set from Whipper Snapper. Everything else should be self-explaining ....

Thank you for stopping by today - I hope you enjoyed it a bit

clean and simple blooms

Hi there!

I know... a week without post .... I apologize for that! We are having company - my in-laws from Germany are here since last Friday and even though they do all the "fun"-stuff with the kids there is still enough to do for me so that I don' t have had enough time to sit down and do some stamping ... :-( But we absolutly enjoy each others company!

I made this card a while ago for a clean and simple challenge and I used the colorQ challenge from my friend Arielle. I really love to color but I think I'm a clean-and-simple kinda of a stamping-girl :-)

Thank you for popping in today - I promise to post more beginning with next week, 'k?

Hugs Tanja

SSS28 and Poinsettias

Hi there,

I'm back with two cards. Yes, I've been busy but the problem was that my husband took the camera with him to work and the second one (small one) is not as good as the other one ... So, I made a bunch of cards but couldn't post them earlier.

The first card is for the sketch challenge over at The Sweet Stop . It's a simple layout and I wanted to show the beautiful paper. And this card matches also the challenge from Sweet'n Sassy Digi Day at SNR where you are supposed to use Holly! Well, after google-ing the word (i'm german and blonde... ;-)) I grabbed this paper from SU - LOVE the Christmas Cocoa DP!

stamps: Christmas Poinsettias from Sweet'n Sassy ink: StazOn Jet Black, real red, ww craft paper: soft suede, real red, Christmas Cocoa DP SU
others: EK success border punch, red ribbon Michael's, flower nesties and Big Shot, dimensionals, Aquapainter, white gel pen, red rhinestone stickers, clear EP and heat gun

The other day I saw a card made just from white cardstock and fell in love - it looks so elegant and clean - just my style. So I tried it and love how it turned out. There is just a tiny little dark spot in the upper right corner .... well, my youngest son asked me to help taking the picture and I think he still had a tiny bit of chocolate on his fingers ..... sorry for that :-)

stamp: Poinsettia Christmas - Verve ink: Versamark, riding hood red, basic black paper: PTI white
others: Petals-A-Plenty Embossingfolder SU, Kaleidoscope EP and heat gun, pearl stickers

I wish you a wonderful weekend , enjoy the fall weather if you still have it and stay safe.

Butterfly Serentipidy

Hi there!

This will be a super-quick post as if I'm nearly running out of the door (crazy week here ).
After all this girly cards I made in the past days I was so glad to find the CAS challenge today (clean and simple cards). It want you to make a simple card with brads or eyelets. I haven't used eyelets in decades so I gave it a try. And while I was playing with this sweet butterfly stamp from SU I try to stamp of the ink and I really like how "this try" turned out. Kinda looks like the butterfly is flying away .... well ...

Thanks for visiting me today! Take care
Hugs Tanja

Recipe:
stamp: Great Friends - SU
ink: Melon Mambo
paper: kraft, PTI white
others: eyelets from my stash, Sakura Glitter pen, Dimensionals
