WOJ - so cute

Hi there,

I was in a need of a birthday card for a friend here in Germany and I wanted to show her what I'm doing in my leisure time (what the heck is it???). And I wanted to ink up some more goodies :) I love the cuties from Whiff of Joy.

And I had so much fun trying to figure out how to use the Copics again. I still need to learn how to shade, right?
I even colored one of the flowers in yellow with my Copics :))

Do you know the feeling? You are sitting on your desk searching for the right paper to match your inspiration and you just can't cut into your new paper stack? Just sitting there and enjoying the paper - how silly is that? Well, that's me - exactly. So I figured I need to work on this issue. So for this card I just grabbed the "Garden Variety" from Basic Grey and used as much of it as I could ... at least tried to :)

A huge thank you to all you folks who are visiting me here and leaving comments - that is so truly appreciated.

TPE#77 and ballons

Hi there,

we ares still buried under tons of things that need to get packed away.... But well, it's kind of an early christmas - you find things you've never known you had 'em ;).

I managed to sit down and play a little bit with some goodies that I couldn't touch in the US anymore before the move. Actually I'm playing the whole week long already but still haven't found a good place to take the pics ..... (insert rolleyes here).

For this card I used the sketch from The Pink Elephant and went ahead. And I have to admit I really like the result :)) . Have I told you already that my friend Arielle was asked to join the DT over at TPE? Arielle, you rock, girlfriend. I wish I could just drive down the street and check out your creations :( soooooo sad!!!!! But you are the best!!!! HUge hugs!!!!!

Thank you for stopping by today and visiting me

I'm back - CQC#43

Hi everybody,

you can't belive it? Yes, I'm back in blogger-land, woohoo!!!!!!!!

Our move to Germany is finally over - there are still a couple of boxes to unpack but most of the things are done and I have my desk and my crafting stuff back. Boy, this feels sooooo good.

I hope to show you some picture of our huge adventure that we had during the last week. My husband is hooking up our "computer" where he downloads aroud 500 pictures :) and after sorting them I will show you what we experienced, okay?

But now ... my card.
This is my try on stamping after not being able to do some creative work for nearly 2 month. It still needs some practice but I think it is okay for a 30 minutes card, right?
You can hardly see it but the white cs was embossed with the dot spot embossing plate from PTI (still haven't found my daylight lamp yet :( )

Stamps are PTI Little Argyle and Outline Alphabet, ink is Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie (no Peach Parfait ink here), Old Olive, choc chip and white.

Thank you for visiting me and I promise to post more often now:)

cqc#36 - Kite

Hi there,

if you wandering where I've been .... well, the movers came last week and packed up all our stuff. Means: EVERYTHING!!!! It took them 4 days to pack all that and put it in 2 huge containers to get it shipped to Germany. Man, I had a hard time seeing all my crafting stuff wrapped up ... I took a bunch of photos and as soon as I can slow down with cleaning, entertaining kids .... I try to upload acouple of them. So please, stay tuned!!! :)

Today's card is my take for Arielle's colorQ challenge. Love the colors together!

Thank you for staying with me - specially since I'm not able to post regularly at the moment.
Sending huge hugs to y'all
Tanja
